As women we have a natural way of doing, planning and controlling the circumstances around us. We are nurturing by nature and will do anything to protect our loved ones against harm. So we start to make our own plans sometimes to just keep everyone and everything in order.
We make broken cisterns and try to hold everything together and even try to fit God into our broken pot.
But God…
The Lord’s plan was never for us to try and hold everything together. He had a great and beautiful plan for us.
Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.
Jeremiah 18:2 KJV
We are just dust being blown to and thro by the winds of this world. The only way to get unto the Potter’s wheel, is to arise and go to the fountain of living water. Only after we are filled with the living water, we become clay in the hands of the Potter.
Then the Father can mold us into beautiful vessels unto His honour. We just need to be centered on the Potter’s wheel.
Put down your broken cisterns today and return to the fountain of living water, Jesus Christ.
Then we will be safe in the hands of our loving Potter, being moulded for His glory and honour.
