On 13 July 2017 our beloved uncle Lloyd were promoted to glory to be with the Lord.
Uncle Lloyd was truly, like Quinton said, our shadow. He was quiet and always there.
A beautiful memorial service was held on 18 July 2017 where Rene encouraged all present with ministry from Eksodus 3. He remembered his father in law as the silent warrior, never complaining. Uncle Lloyd went through life facing the battles of life, but through them he found a softness towards God.
He asked to be baptised about 10 years ago and was baptised by Rene and Stef.
Uncle Lloyd’s life is a testimony that we can all get to the burning bush experience no matter our circumstance, if we only let God be God in our lives.
Uncle Lloyd allowed God to be God.
We remember uncle Lloyd for the live he lived, being a testimony through the harshest of circumstance.
We will miss uncle Lloyd here with us, but we rejoice in the knowledge that he is with Jesus. He has seen the face of our Lord.
