Jesus came to earth, died on a cross, rose again and so doing he made a way that our sins can be forgiven and that we have a way to access the Father.
 
The theme of the camp was that Jesus is our superhero! In any movie you in the cold dark night before the battle, when the steely fangs of evil are sharpened and ready to strike. The hero must face his greatest challenge alone. 
 
Jesus faced the wrath of God alone, for you and for me!
 
We heard beautiful stories from the bible and had lots of fun with a ice breaker on Friday evening, sport during the day and lots of fun activities. 
 
But the most fun was praising God and spending time in His word. 
 
God truly is a hero that saved a retched heart like mine.
