The Gauteng and Freestate Young Adults camp took place over the weekend of the 27th of July at the home of George and Wilma on the beautiful Vaal dam. Once again this camp was an absolute blessing. We spent time in the word, having fellowship and just enjoying each other’s company. We were encouraged to allow the goliaths in our lives to be conquered by David- that is Jesus living inside of all of us.
I think I speak for all that we left camp feeling very encouraged to press on and being there for one another in serving the Lord.
We are so looking forward to the next camp.
John 3:30
Let there be less of me and more of Jesus.

Young Adults Camp is a camp every young adult looks forward to. It involves great ministry, friendly sports and games between the guys and girls and don’t forget the amazing food and coffee.
The camp had a very relaxed atmosphere with some good sun time to give us a break from winter.
We were blessed to celebrate Warren’s birthday the Friday night. The counsellors were full of fun and pulled a prank on Warren where they all pretended to not know it was his birthday while ‘back at the ranch’ we had a delicious chocolate cake (baked by Kim Rautenbach) that they surprised him with after singing happy birthday to another camper and giving him a chocolate muffin topped with cream. A very ‘disappointed’ Warren wished Romano and later was given a proper happy birthday with song and the wonderful cake.
We were encouraged to hand all our ‘Goliaths’ to Jesus who will take care of them and were reminded that the Lord will always fulfil His promises to us.
