On the weekend of the 15th to the 17th of February we had our Young Adults Camp at Three Rivers. It was special to have quite a few visitors from the fellowships in Natal. On Friday evening we were reminded that God has a purpose for our lives through the story of Gideo n. Gideon was used powerfully by the Lord when he put his own doubts aside and decided, by faith, to trust God’s plan to save Israel.
On Saturday we enjoyed spending time with each other as well as quite an intense game of dodge ball. Uncle Dylan shared on Saturday evening using the story Jephtah and how serious he was about his covenant with God. He challenged us to consider how serious we are about our relationship with God. We enjoyed fellowship around the bonfire after the meeting.
On Sunday we ended off the weekend with an amazing session of worship. We all left encouraged and ready to be used of God. Uncle Jorge and Aunty Wilma looked after us wonderfully and certainly went the extra mile with the meals. Thank-you to Uncle Danie and Tracey for all their hard work behind the scenes.
